Position Summary
The Performance Improvement (PI) Analyst supports the hospital’s quality and performance improvement initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to clinical, operational, and regulatory performance. The PI Analyst collaborates with clinical leaders, department managers, and interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for improvement, support compliance with regulatory standards, and promote evidence-based practices that enhance patient safety, outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Quality Management, Data Analytics, or a related field required
Active FL RN License preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare performance improvement, quality management, or data analysis preferred
Knowledge of hospital quality measures, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Experience with data analysis tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly to diverse audiences
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
Physical and Work Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
Ability to attend meetings, trainings, and hospital committees as required
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (40hrs/week)
