Description:
The patient account representative is responsible in resolving patient account balances. Duties include, but are not limited to, medical claims processing and billing, collecting past due payments from patients, and contacting collection agents to assist in collecting outstanding balances.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate/ GED.
- Ability to perform repetitive task with close attention to detail.
- Experience working with computers required.
- Knowledge of HIPPA and EMTALA guidelines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
