We are seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper position to join our team at Larkin Behavioral Health Services (LBHS). As a housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our facility remains a welcoming and comfortable space for all who enter. Minimum Qualifications:Must be able to complete housekeeping duties according to hospital policies and procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.Demonstrated manual dexterity to handle cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently.Capability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.Experience working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining productivity without compromising quality.Basic mathematical skills to measure cleaning solutions and maintain inventory records.Perform repetitive tasks and reach overhead or bend as required.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in housekeeping within a health care or behavioral health setting.Familiarity with infection control procedures and safety standards specific to health care environments.Responsibilities:Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices following health care facility standards.Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness and safety.Follow detailed oral and written instructions to ensure proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with facility policies and environmental regulations.Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department promptly.Work Schedule:Monday - Friday10 AM to 6 PMRotating Weekends
