The Larimer County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Unit is hiring Emergency Services TEMP - Technical Specialists to assist our wildland firefighters and search and rescue teams with emergency operations. This is a part-time, temporary position that is part of an incident management team.
These temporary positions provide a wide variety of routine and general support and customer services activities within assigned departments or divisions. They perform functions typically under the supervision of in support of other administrative positions.

- Starting pay rates for this position are based on qualifications and the specific Incident Command System position pursued. **This position does not guarantee a specific number of hours worked.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Operate routine office equipment to support operations of the department/division including copiers, fax machines, telephone systems, and computers.
- Provide technical expertise with various platforms such as UAV's, maps, and specialized incident support. These duties may sometimes be performed in the field under adverse conditions.
- Acquire, deliveries, and tracks logistical supplies to support the incident.
- Perform errands or other general assistance in support of a department/division and it's personnel.
- Participate in year-round monthly trainings.
What We're Looking For
- An interest or background in Incident/Emergency Management.
- Knowledge of the Incident Command System.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License by date of hire required.
