About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented commercial loan servicer to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, ensuring timely processing of payments, compliance with loan agreements, and excellent service to our borrowers. The ideal candidate is driven, intellectually curious about commercial real estate and finance, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and monitor a portfolio of commercial real estate loans throughout the loan lifecycle
- Process loan payments, escrow disbursements, payoffs, and modifications accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with loan agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal servicing policies
- Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and internal teams to resolve inquiries and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate loan records, generate reports, and track key financial data in servicing systems
- Support special servicing activities, including delinquencies, workouts, and asset management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrate interest in commercial real estate and financial markets
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with loan servicing software a plus
- Prior experience in loan servicing, banking, or commercial real estate is preferred but not required
