Title: Windows System Administrator
Location: Bronx, New York,

Job Description
1. Windows Server Administration:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows patching.
2. SQL Server Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts for automation and reporting.
3. System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor system performance.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
4. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery:
- Implement and support backup/recovery solutions.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans.
5. Automation & Scripting:
- Use PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
6. Security & Compliance:
- Maintain security best practices (system hardening, vulnerability management).
- Ensure compliance with change management and ITIL processes.
7. Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work with development/application teams and management to resolve system issues.
- Produce documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change controls.
8. Virtualization:
- Utilize virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) for infrastructure management.
9. Qualifications:
- 7 years of Windows system administration experience in mid to large-scale environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
- Understanding of network fundamentals and ITIL practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and customer-outcome focused.
10. Preferred:
- Utility and energy domain experience.
- Microsoft/CompTIA certifications (Windows Hybrid Server Administrator, Administrator Associate, Security ).
- Master’s degree.
