Job Summary (Systems Administrator / Cloud Engineer)
- Administer and maintain Azure resources supporting data workloads (storage accounts, containers, key vaults).
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for Azure provisioning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance for data workloads using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure environments are performant and scalable for data products.
- Document and automate operational tasks, developing runbooks and maintaining configuration tracking.
- Support platform operations with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation.
- Engage in platform support and ensure best practices for cloud resource management and security.
- Maintain familiarity with modern data platforms, such as Snowflake and Power BI Service.
- Participate in operational support, process improvement, and documentation efforts.
