Job Summary
- Build, configure, and maintain RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) platforms in a large enterprise environment, including virtual machines.
- Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible for OS and application deployment, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Perform regular system administration tasks, including scripting (shell, Ansible playbooks), patching, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and support Red Hat Satellite for automated system management.
- Collaborate with product owners, squad members, and other internal teams following Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Provide Level 2 operational support for RHEL infrastructure components.
- Utilize configuration management and orchestration tools such as Cloudbees, vRA/vRO, and VMware (including creating/managing VM templates and snapshots).
- Use CI/CD tools (GIT/Bitbucket) for build and deployment automation.
- Ensure compliance with change management processes during infrastructure and software deployments.
- Document and track progress of services, systems, and procedures.
- Continuously improve system processes and customer satisfaction through automation and knowledge sharing.
