We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused CDJR Automotive Service Advisor/Writer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair will help guide customers through their service needs while ensuring a positive experience at our facility.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing recommendations based on their vehicle's condition.
- Collaborate with service technicians to communicate customer concerns and relay necessary information regarding repairs or maintenance.
- Prepare accurate estimates for services, including parts and labor, ensuring transparency with customers.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up actions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Stay updated on automotive technology trends and service techniques to provide informed advice to customers.
- Promote additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance or safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair and air brake systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in auto estimating and service writing to accurately convey repair needs to customers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers effectively.
- A background in automotive sales is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
