Job Description

The CT Technologist is a vital member of the healthcare team, providing diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the technologist performs a range of imaging procedures and ensures the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct imaging studies with and without contrast media.
• Execute basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Follow departmental protocols and demonstrate proficiency in surgical and sterile procedures.
  
  

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and TMB license required.
• BLS certification.
• Must be registered in Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Uniform: Navy blue scrubs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
