- Develop and oversee ICP surveillance activities to identify infection control risks.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement initiatives to minimize infection risks for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate with departments to enhance policies and procedures that strengthen infection prevention efforts.

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Microbiology or Nursing.
- Additional education considered with relevant experience:
- Master’s in Public Health
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Epidemiology
- International Physician Degree (validated by World Education Services [WES])
- Required: Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CBIC) within 12 months of hire.
- Preferred: Medical Technologist certification (ASCP) or Texas R.N. License.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience across multiple patient populations.
- 1-3 years of leadership/management experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs), data reporting, and analytics preferred.
Reports to the Chief Medical Officer.
