Primary Job Responsibilities to Include:
- Train all service/parts staff to promote customer satisfaction.
- Set department objectives that align with dealership objectives.
- Hire, train and evaluate service/parts staff.
- Dispatching of all work to technicians
- Maintain daily, monthly reports as required by dealership management.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of all service equipment.
- Make sure the customer service experience meets dealership expectations.
- Ensure the service staff is kept up to date on technical issues and up to date on all products.
- Be accountable for the department budget.
- Oversee used vehicle reconditioning and meet time to frontline guidelines.
- Work cooperatively with the sales department
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Two plus years of automotive service management experience
- Strong communication, customer service, leadership, and organizational skills
- A valid driver’s license.
