Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to promote a safe working environment
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and basic prep work when needed
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area
- Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with culinary staff during busy service times to ensure smooth operation flow
- Follow all food handling regulations and safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health codes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
