Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant position based in Laramie, WY. The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including conducting consultations, diagnosing conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing necessary follow-up care. The role involves collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records and staying up to date on the latest advances in women’s health.
Qualifications
- Proven clinical skills in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, particularly in women's health.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team and provide patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
- Dedication to continuing education and staying current with advancements in medical practices and women’s health issues.
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and current Physician Assistant certification/license.
- Experience in women’s health or OB/GYN care is preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
