Job Title: Nutrition Services Warehouse Driver
SUMMARY: This position supports the food service activities of each kitchen throughout the district. They provide assistance to the Warehouse Manager, maintain required inventory levels, ensures specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct, verifies stock and identifies losses, maintains an organized warehouse layout, transports orders over designated routes. ensures safe operation of vehicles, and loads and unloads freight.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- No experience required, but experience driving box trucks and equipment repair preferred
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- Valid Driver’s License, required
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines
- Able to perform all duties and adjust based on job conditions
- Ability to upgrade skills, as needed
- Ability and willingness to adhere to attendance expectations and to follow district procedures for absence reporting
- Ability to promote and follow Board of Trustees policies, District policies, and building and department procedures
- Ability to communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with all people including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds
- Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate/required safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:
- Operating knowledge of forklifts, and powered pallet jacks preferred, but not required. Functional knowledge required within 1 month of entering position
- Operating knowledge of and experience with office productivity programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, etc.
- Operating knowledge of district information technology systems and department-specific software and equipment required within 3 months after entering position
