SUMMARY: This position is responsible for facilities are in good operating condition, specifically they will prepare and paint a variety of surfaces, determine if repairs that can be accomplished by building staff or if repairs can be accomplished during operational hours or holidays/weekends. They will also ensure availability of supplies required for job assignments, and ensure assignments are completed in a safe, proper, and timely manner.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
- 3-5 years’ experience in a painting trade, preferred
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- Valid state issued Driver’s License, required
- Must obtain and maintain Defensive Driving certificate by the conclusion of the district-provided training course
- Asbestos Supervisor certification, required within 3 months of hire

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:

- Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as?telephones, copier, fax machine, etc.? Operating knowledge?of and experience with office productivity programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, etc.
- Operating knowledge of district information technology systems and department-specific?software and equipment required within 3 months after entering position
- Operational knowledge of all powered equipment used to perform job functions
