Responsibilities

• Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, color applications, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
• Perform advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Offer expert consultations on color theory and hair care routines to help clients achieve their desired look while promoting retail products
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, booking appointments, and handling payments with excellent communication skills
• Upsell retail items such as nail care products, makeup essentials, and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to cultivate a skilled and motivated team environment
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling, barbering, and beauty treatments through ongoing education

Experience

• Proven experience as a professional Hairdresser or Cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques
• Knowledge of salon management systems like MINDBODY or similar software for scheduling and sales tracking
• Expertise in hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles
• Skilled in various hair treatments including straight razor shaves, nail care services, makeup application, and retail sales strategies
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and providing personalized recommendations
• Previous experience mentoring or training team members is a plus but not required
