Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Room Attendant and be the cornerstone of creating a pristine, welcoming environment for our guests.
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh environment.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces to maintain sanitation standards.
- Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and floor care.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards; report issues promptly.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment using proper manual handling techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures including window cleaning, pressure washing, sanitation practices, and floor care.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while following chemical handling guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and manual handling tasks throughout shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Understanding of infection control practices and proper use of PPE to ensure safety for yourself and others.
