Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, professionalism, and prompt resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, billing, and special requests to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs quickly and effectively.
- Conduct night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette while managing multiple lines and responding to inquiries swiftly.
- Assist with guest relations initiatives to foster loyalty and encourage positive reviews.
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Weekends and Holidays are required
- Shifts range from 7a to 3p and 3p to 11p
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred; previous hotel experience is highly valued.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions confidently.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including guest services, resort operations, and hotel management practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed for night audit shifts or peak times.
- A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
