Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team on a day shift schedule. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality finishes on our products and structures, ensuring they meet safety, durability, and aesthetic standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with industrial and construction painting techniques, and proficiency with various hand tools and power tools. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers using hand tools and power tools such as sanders
- Apply construction home-grade paints, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers
- Perform drywall installation, framing, plastering, and fixture installation as part of renovation or remodeling projects
- Operate brushes, rollers, and equipment. We Do Not Spray!
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency while maintaining safety standards
- Reliable transportation (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Extensive experience with residential painting projects
- Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired visual effects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
