CSI Sands (N.E.) provides a full range of aggregate and resource materials production services. We are equipped to handle every phase of the materials engineering process, from initial exploration to delivery of the end-product.
Currently CSI Sands (N.E.) is looking to fill the position of CDL A Driver in Cleveland, OH. Under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Shift Lead, the CDL A Driver is required to follow all safety and operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but not limited to:
- Safely haul various bulk pneumatic loads.
- Safely haul bulk loads and operate tractor-trailer truck.
- Conduct and record pre and post operational checks on equipment.
- Operate loading and unloading equipment as required.
- Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch.
- Complete daily activity logs accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work.
- Report any issues or incidents to operations manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory.
- Minimum three-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred.
- Experience with pneumatic hauling is preferred.
- Ability to drive on multiple routes.
- Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle.
- Acceptable drivers abstract.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends an asset.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
