What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse - Receiving position at LAPP?
Responsibilities:
- Receiving of all incoming material in a timely manner
- Inspection and Verification of all incoming material to the purchase order
- Stocking of all incoming materials in their appropriate locations
- Processing of all incoming Nonconforming material
- Assists with customer will calls
- Assists drivers in loading and unloading of all deliveries and shipments
- Keeps all warehouse work areas clean and safe
- Practice safety and quality programs
- Willing to work overtime as required
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Associates degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Receiving experience a plus
- Must be able to maneuver 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- This position regularly requires employees to stand, bend, walk, lift and reach
- Basic mathematical skills required
- Strong computer skills
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to work well with others and follow directions
- Oral & written communication skills
- Positive attitude
