Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roof Technician to join our Mississippi team. This role is ideal for a skilled roofer who can diagnose roofing issues, perform repairs, and complete jobs independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must have extensive roofing experience and provide their own qualifying work truck.
Pay
- $30.00 per hour
- Gas mileage reimbursement for work-related travel
Responsibilities
- Perform residential roofing repairs and maintenance
- Inspect roofing systems and identify repair needs
- Document findings and communicate recommendations
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Travel throughout assigned service areas
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding job progress
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of roofing experience
- Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems, leak diagnostics, and repairs
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Professional, dependable, and safety-minded
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must provide own work truck
Vehicle Requirements
- Must be a 2015 model year or newer
- Must be a heavy-duty truck (Ford F-250/F-350, Ram 2500/3500, Chevy/GMC 2500HD/3500HD, or equivalent)
- No significant rust or body damage
- Must be reliable and suitable for daily field operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with repair-focused roofing work
- Ability to diagnose difficult leaks and roofing issues
- Strong customer communication skills
- Ownership of roofing tools and equipment
