Job Summary: LaPlaya is seeking an upbeat, detail-oriented person, to be a welcoming part-time Greeter/Conceirge in our private Beach Club. In this role, you will set the tone from the start, for the member's visits to LaPlaya.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests by name with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness as they arrive, making them feel valued from the moment they walk through the door
- Asist with Member Cards, Membership Rosters and Dining Reservations, and all member programs and events.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, providing guests with menus, answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service during busy hours
- Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
- Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and guest relations at all times
Requirements
- Guest relations experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience as a Concierge or similar role is preferred
- Microsoft Office skills
- On the job training
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to walk, stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work outside in extreme heat
- Ability to work at a desk on a computer
