Service Manager – Lapin Services (Orlando, FL)
Lapin Services is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our septic, grease trap, lift station, and plumbing service operations. This role is responsible for driving production, capturing sales opportunities, and ensuring efficient dispatch and field performance for maximum profitability.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can coach and motivate office and field teams, improve efficiency, and make sure every customer call turns into a completed job.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily service operations including dispatch, scheduling, and job flow
- Drive revenue by capturing inbound calls and improving conversion rates
- Monitor performance metrics such as daily production, sales, and efficiency
- Coach customer service and field staff on communication, service presentation, and sales techniques
- Ensure service quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
- Manage department budget, labor costs, and profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to align service goals with company objectives
- Maintain inventory and oversee equipment readiness
- Promote and enforce company safety standards
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in service or operations management (plumbing, septic, or related industry preferred)
- Proven track record of improving efficiency, team performance, and profitability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of service scheduling, CRM, and dispatch systems
- Financial understanding of budgets, job costing, and P&L
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
