Lapeyre Stair is seeking a Senior Accountant to own our accounting and finance function. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financials, and producing financial analysis and modeling to improve visibility, support decision-making, and drive profitability across the business.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role operates in a lean, high-accountability environment with broad exposure across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Review general ledger accounts for accuracy, completeness, and trends
- Assist with all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets as needed.
- Analyze gross and net margin; determine true product and component cost to inform pricing and margin decisions
- Develop financial models for budgeting, pricing analysis and Cap-Ex Planning
- Manage downpayment schedules, credit processes, and customer financial risk analysis
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting transactions and system flows
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or auditing
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Cost accounting knowledge in an inventory or manufacturing environment
- Working experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (Epicor, Oracle)
- Strong understanding of GAAP; detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Effective communicator and collaborator across functions and levels
- Advanced Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Teams and SharePoint
- Experience in a small- to mid-sized manufacturing company
- Active CPA certification
- Experience leading or supervising an accounting team
- Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting
- Experience preparing financial materials for senior leadership
