Duties

• Operate pressing machines to expertly finish garments, ensuring they are wrinkle-free, crisp, and presentation-ready
• Handle delicate fabrics with care, applying proper pressing techniques to maintain garment integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning equipment and work areas using appropriate detergents
• Support laundry services by processing garments efficiently while adhering to safety standards
• Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry baskets or garment racks safely and effectively
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring garments meet quality standards before delivery or pickup

Qualifications

• Previous experience is desired
• Knowledge of garment care, fabric types, and pressing techniques is essential
• Familiarity with dry cleaning, laundry operations, and garment finishing processes
• Ability to operate pressing machines and other garment care equipment safely and accurately
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to workspace cleanliness and safety
