What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner/Spotter position at Lapel's Dry Cleaning | Cary, NC?
The Cleaner/Spotter of an Environmentally Friendly Lapels Plant is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning. We typically look for a Cleaner/Spotter with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant but is also open-minded to seeing the benefits of using the Lapels program and systems of production.
At Lapels, a Cleaner/Spotter will daily be responsible for such items as:
- Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre-spotting or post spotting that garment
- Running dry cleaning loads
- Finishing of garments
- Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels
- Overall control of work
- Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in a fast paced environment similar to farming, industrial, or manufacturing labor
- Flexible hours including Saturdays
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle client's garment with care
- Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to physically manipulate the pressing equipment.
- Previous pressing experience preferred, but not required and must be 18 or older.
