What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Lapeer Wine & Spirits?
We are looking to hire a Cashier/Sales Associates to join our team.
This position is for evenings and weekends. We are looking for a part time helper to work between 15-30 hours a week.
Candidates must be self-motivated, able to excel in a busy work environment, and have a desire to learn about wine, spirits (liquor) and beer.
We are committed to offering every customer the best customer service and an enjoyable shopping experience and are looking for enthusiastic customer service representatives.
- Ability to run a POS system
- Ability to operate a lotto terminal
- Ability to assist in merchandising and filling store displays
- Able to go up and down a ladder (Height up to 30 feet)
- Able to lift up to 25-30lbs for stocking purposes
- Occasionally lifting 50 lbs by push cart/dolly
- Perform all stocking duties on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and well organized work/storage area
- Perform other duties as needed
- Night, weekend, and holiday hours is a must
- Experience in retail wine, liquor, and beer or knowledge of those industries is helpful, but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
