Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Lawn & Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with lawn irrigation systems, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance. This role involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining sprinkler systems while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial sprinkler systems.
- Perform seasonal sprinkler startups, winterizations, and system inspections.
- Diagnose irrigation controller, valve, pipe, and sprinkler head issues.
- Maintain lawns and landscapes as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and trenching equipment safely.
- Keep accurate records of completed work.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including system diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation system installation and repair projects.
- Familiarity with irrigation equipment such as sprinklers, valves, controllers, and pumps.
- Strong electrical diagnostics skills for troubleshooting electrical components within irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of automated irrigation control systems and soil science principles related to landscape watering needs.
- Construction experience or horticulture background is highly desirable for understanding landscape requirements.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments.
- Valid driver's license.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
