Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient organization when needed.
- Support the catering team by providing clean serving ware and assisting with setup or cleanup during events or banquets.
- Buss tables by clearing plates and utensils from dining areas promptly to keep service flowing smoothly.
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service and catering operations.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key.
- Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced situations.
- Familiarity with basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous.
- Prior roles involving serving or bussing contribute to understanding customer service expectations in hospitality settings.
