Summary:
The Lead Insulation Technician is responsible for overseeing residential weatherization projects, ensuring that they are completed with the highest quality work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the insulation team.
- Drive small box truck.
- Overseeing the retrofitting work for single family residential buildings, taking responsibility for safety, craftsmanship, and quality.
- Interact with homeowners.
- Scan job site for all possible safety hazards.
- Make sure that customer’s property is properly covered/protected during the install.
- Maintain company tools and equipment.
- Maintaining knowledge and adhering to all Lantern Energy policies and procedures established by the company, including but not limited to those in the employee handbook.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and pass background check.
- 2 years minimum construction or insulation experience.
- Current BPI Analyst and Envelope Certifications Required.
- DOE Home Energy Score Assessor ID a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must work well with others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
