What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator position at Lanter Distributing, LLC?
LANTER DISTRIBUTING, LLC, a leading temperature controlled transportation and warehousing organization, is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator for its Bollingbrook, IL location.
This position requires a candidate that is ready for a challenge! Ideal candidates will be computer literate, have prior barcoding, and have forklift as well as double reach truck experience. Must be able to work independently. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
Requirements
- 2 years experience using forklift and stand up forklift
- 2 years dock experience loading and unloading trailers with forklifts
- Previous double reach stand up truck experience is required!
- Proficient with computer and able to learn new programs
- Ability to accurately pick orders and maintain an accurate inventory
- Experience working in temperature controlled, freezer and dry environments is a plus
- Must be able to lift 60 LBS
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a strong work ethic and a great attendance record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
