Director of Technology Delivery

As the Director of Technology Delivery, you will help define, track, manage, and propel Lanter's technology roadmap.
This role will extend across functional areas to ensure the timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery of complex technical solutions, from inception to implementation.
You will establish a center of excellence for requirement definition, program management, work intake, and project execution. You and your team will drive results in a complex, fast-paced agile environment, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Establish durable "right sized" practices for tracking and managing initiatives across technical teams
- Assemble, manage, and mentor highly performant teams of project managers, business analysts, and/or product owners to engage with stakeholders and ensure efficient execution
- Lead critical cross-functional programs from solutioning through delivery in areas including, but not limited to new client engagement, software selection and onboarding, mergers & acquisitions, and system migrations
- Help define, articulate, and track progress against the technology roadmap
- Oversee risk management for all technology projects, identifying potential issues and providing mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, quality standards, and organizational policies
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, timelines, risks, and resource allocation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8 years in technology delivery, program management, or related roles with 4 years in leadership
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (scrum, kanban, etc.) and portfolio/product management best practices
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technology projects from initiation to completion
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple departments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of software development processes, data warehousing/analysis, infrastructure management, and cloud technologies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Preferred
- Previous logistics experience, especially in final mile or parcel delivery, a plus
- Certification in PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management frameworks
- Experience with TMS, WMS, and/or logistics scanning platforms
- Experience as a software engineer, especially with the MERN stack
Experience with data warehousing technologies, especially the Azure stack
