1st Shift: Mon - Thu, 6am - 4:30 pm

Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:
Work with a team in the mechanical and electrical assembly of Lantech machines. This includes final assembly, runout, and troubleshooting of stretch-wrap components using a wide range of hand and power tools. Work to also include hardware and software interface, and understanding of PLC / ladder logic. Will cross train on the line to support new and existing options in sub-assembly. Will occasionally be lifting loads up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb a ladder, and work in an aerial lift and forklift. Must be willing/able to work overtime to complete project and meet scheduling deadlines.
What are We Looking For? (Requirements)
We are looking for someone who:
- Must be able to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 2 years of wiring experience
- Mechanical work background
- Must be willing to enroll in and complete Lantech Electrical Advancement Program (LEAP) Levels 1 & 2
- Must be willing to assist Rigging team in setup and tear down of equipment.
- Is able to read and follow instructions in English (standardized work).
- Is able to work effectively in a team environment
- Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers.
- Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Is a team-oriented individual with good interaction/communication skills.
- Is detail-oriented and able to work effectively within the fast-paced production environment.
- Knows safety equipment and is aware of machine safety procedures
- Is able to lift up to 50lbs
- Is able stand for 9-10 hours per day
- Is able to pass a pre-employment physical demand screen (includes a work simulation; lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Is willing and able to work overtime to complete project and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
- Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
