Position Overview:
As a Hostess at LaNoma, you are the face of the restaurant. You will manage reservations, greet guests with confidence, and ensure smooth flow of service while maintaining a luxury atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Manage reservations using systems such as OpenTable or Resy
- Escort guests to tables while maintaining floor awareness and pacing
- Communicate effectively with management and service team
- Handle waitlists and provide accurate wait times
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and elegant host stand
- Manage guest flow during peak service with professionalism and composure
- Assist with coat check and guest accommodations when needed
Requirements
- Previous hostess or hospitality experience preferred (fine dining a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
