Workers will be employed on a diversified agricultural operation consisting primarily of grain farming and a beef cow herd. Employment is seasonal and tied to the annual crop and livestock production cycle from spring through harvest. During the spring season, workers will assist with field preparation and planting of spring wheat, soybeans, and corn, including operating tractors and farm equipment customarily used in crop production. As the season progresses, workers will participate in moving cattle to summer pastures and performing routine agricultural tasks associated with livestock care. Workers will assist with crop care activities, including spraying operations, and perform general farm and facility maintenance incidental to agricultural operations. During the summer months, workers will be involved in hay production for livestock, including cutting grass, raking, and baling hay using farm equipment. When weather conditions do not permit haying or spraying, workers will assist with checking, and preparing harvest equipment for upcoming operations.
