Essential Functions: The Fuel Hauler is a key role in ensuring a successful partnership with our customers. Safely drive tractor with tanker to make deliveries on time, without incident, is the main objective. This position requires a clean driving record and demonstrated knowledge in fuel / hazmat deliveries. Will train the right candidate.
- Drive tractor/tanker truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner; per dispatch
- Perform pre trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;
- Electronically complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of service etc.
- Have working knowledge of DOT regulations regarding operating a CMV, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year CDL experience
- CDL- Class A with Class X endorsement
- Valid DOT physical
- Clean driving record
- Hazmat/tanker endorsement
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs
- Initiative and willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills
