Kitchen Hood and Suppression Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of fire suppression systems within commercial kitchens. This includes installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems.
Job Duties:
· Inspect and install fire extinguishers, fire protection equipment, and exit emergency lighting.
· Inspect, service, and install kitchen hood suppression systems.
· Test and repair existing fire suppression systems.
· Inspections to ensure fire suppression systems are installed correctly.
· Complete inspection reports and document deficiencies.

Physical Requirements and Exposures
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
· Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather
· Must be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly
· Must be able to push greater than 50 pounds as needed
· Must be able to pull greater than 50 pounds as needed
· Must be able to climb a ladder reaching at least 12 feet safely.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Fire Protection Technician

Compensation
Pay: $38.00 to $42.00 per hour
