SUMMARY
The Room Service Attendant is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. They ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and adhering to hotel policies and hygiene regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promptly deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms.
- Set up and present trays and trolleys according to hotel standards.
- Ensure all items on the order are correct and well-presented.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Call back after delivering order to check guest satisfaction.
- Retrieve used trays, dishes, and carts from guest rooms and hallways.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area and pantries.
- Respond to guest requests and communicate special instructions to the kitchen.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and hotel promotions.
- Report any guest complaints, feedback, or unusual situations to management.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
