JOB OVERVIEW
Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests in the pool and cabana areas. Deliver a high level of personalized, attentive service while ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable guest experience in an outdoor setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide attentive, personalized service to cabana guests or guests at the pool, ensuring a premium experience.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner at the pool, lounge chairs, and cabanas.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly while maintaining quality standards.
- Present menus, share daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Prepare and serve beverages and ensure that the cabanas, cart and coolers are adequately stocked.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and pool area.
- Keep all condiment containers clean and filled.
- Receive and visually inspect guest check for any inaccuracies, then close the check to the proper method of payment.
- Assist in food preparation as required.
- Perform general cleaning task using standard hotel cleaning products, as assigned to adhere to health standards.
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Perform all side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking kitchen shelves with supplies.
- Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to provide high-touch guest service in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous food and beverage, poolside, or hospitality experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
