The Host/Hostess at Sidney's Bar & Grille is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests from the moment they enter the establishment and until the time they depart. They typically provide menus and answer the phone to handle reservations and provide any information that a guest may need.

The Host/Hostess at Sidney's Bar & Grille is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests from the moment they enter the establishment and until the time they depart. They typically provide menus and answer the phone to handle reservations and provide any information that a guest may need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests in a friendly, polite manner.
- Be prompt, be reliable, and help your co-workers whenever possible.
- Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and clean tables.
- Estimate wait times for guests and monitor the guest waiting list.
- Ensure that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
- Answer the telephone, book reservations, and move tables together to accommodate large parties.
- Perform other duties as required.
