Lanier Home Restoration is looking for a motivated and dependable Mitigation Technician to join our team!
If you enjoy hands-on work, helping people during difficult situations, and working as part of a team, this may be the opportunity for you. The Mitigation Technician will respond to water, fire, mold, and other property damage emergencies and assist with restoring homes and businesses to a safe condition.
Responsibilities
- Respond to residential and commercial property damage calls.
- Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, cleaning, and other mitigation services.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Assist with contents pack-out, inventory, cleaning, and storage when needed.
- Remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and insulation as directed.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, equipment logs, and daily notes.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, adjusters, and coworkers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle, equipment, and jobsite.
- Follow all company safety procedures and mitigation protocols.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Be available to respond to emergency and after-hours calls as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restoration, construction, demolition, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
- Ability to work in tight spaces, hot/cold conditions, and occasionally difficult environments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be willing to complete required training and follow company procedures.
