What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Elementary Assistant Teacher position at Laniakea Montessori School?
We are seeking an assistant teacher for a small private Montessori school in Gainesville, Fl.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30 plus occasional weekday hours for special events
Duties:
Provide direct support to teachers and students (grades K-5) during work cycle, lunch/recess, and afternoon activities.
Foster a respectful, child-centered environment, with patience and observation skills
Prepare and maintain classroom materials.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for children. Light cleaning of restrooms, sweeping, etc.
Must be punctual and dependable at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35,000.00 per year
