What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biomedical Technician position at LANI?
We are seeking a Biomedical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and repair biomedical equipment (defibrillators, CT scanning devices, ultrasound equipment, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Document service and repair activities
- Work with vendors and service providers as needed
Requirements:
- 1 year of biomedical equipment experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience using tools and troubleshooting equipment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in biomedical technology or related field
- CBET or related certifications
