Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a Brazilian Portuguese teacher.
Some details about the course:
- One of our clients in Washington would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Brazilian Portuguese classes.
- This student wishes to have classes at his home in Washington, 20003. He would like to have a 22-hour course. Classes of two hours should be held twice per week on Monday and Wednesday 4pm onwards, and he wishes to start on January 12th.
- Estimated Current Language Level: Beginner
- Motivation: "My girlfriend was born and raised in Brasil. We go and visit her friends and family each year. So, I would like to learn more Portuguese so I can interact more with her family and friends. I’ve picked up a little Portuguese the two times I’ve traveled there".
- Aspect of the language mostly interested in: Speaking
Ideal teacher should:
- Be a native Portuguese speaker OR hold a teaching degree
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid working visa
- Live up to 20 miles from the client's location.
Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
