As an SLP with Language Fundamentals, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your patients by:
- Collaborating with the team of PT/OT, nurses, physicians & dieticians to meet the comprehensive needs of the residents in the facility
- Providing short team rehabilitation, geared toward a functional return home
- Providing restorative therapy to improve the quality of life of the long-term residents in the facility
- Interacting with families and nursing staff on patients’ after-care programs
- Treating under the Patient Driven Payment Model Reimbursement System
Observing in the administration of on-site FEES testing for patients with swallowing disorders
