As one of our Occupational Therapy Assistants, you will be responsible for providing treatment to help children meet developmental milestones, overcome sensory challenges, and improve self-care, play and self-regulation.
Occupational Therapist Assistants’ Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow developed treatment plans for sensory & motor needs
- Liaise with family members, counselors, teachers, psychologists, doctors, and other professionals to perform holistic treatments
- Compile extensive notes on patients’ progress
- With the supervisor assistance, adjust therapies and treatment plans where necessary.
- An AA degree in occupational therapy
- 1 years of experience providing occupational therapy
- Competent Computer Skills
- Hold required California license or has applied.
- Ability to start and foster relationships
- Attention to detail, ability to follow through
- Creative in approach
- Driven to meet goals/targets
- Timely completion of tasks
- Excellent attendance
- Effective and efficient problem solver
- Flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to changes
- Like to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills
- Responsible & Positive attitude
