What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at Langton Household?
A woman with a physical disability living in West Hartford is looking for a FEMALE PERSONAL ASSISTANT ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS FROM 7:30AM – 2:00PM. This job will open your eyes because the woman is very involved in disability rights. The hours are flexible depending on what we are doing for the day. The person MUST have a driver’s license, patience, be able to listen to me and be flexible to work longer when needed. If interested, additional hours may be available. The pay is $23.00 an hour and is paid weekly.
Some of the needs are:
1. Personal care – dressing, hygiene
2. Breakfast routine
3. Light housecleaning
4. Shopping
5. Driving my van
6. Responding to emails and letters on my computer with me
7. Gardening
