What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enthusiastic Spanish Speaking Teachers for After-School Program and Saturday Morning Classes position at LangoKids Irvine?
Important Spanish Immersion Language Academy is looking for great Spanish Instructors and Teacher Assistants preferably in the IRVINE area (or close to it), to teach Spanish to children ages 5-10 years old. An instructor is needed for an after-school schedule Monday to Thursdays and day and Saturday morning classes. This is a seasonal position (with possibility of becoming permanent and with more hours) with a good salary that matches your experience.

We are looking for candidates that can:
Teach daily conversational Spanish to children following our proprietary curriculum
Teach enthusiastically and in a fun way. We need people who are willing to entertain and enjoy themselves while teaching the target language and the culture
Understand, believe, and apply the principles of Language Immersion Programs
Commit to working the entire length of the program and on Saturdays
Candidates must be:
Fun, patient, and fluent in English
Experienced and with a genuine love for working with kids
Energetic to the point of frenetic; dramatic, and highly creative
Flexible, punctual, and hard-working in general
Willing to be trained and apply our method, materials, and methodology
Candidates must have a degree (or be pursuing studies) in areas of Psychology or Education preferably. If you don't have a degree in teaching or experience teaching, please do not apply. Important: We'll be primarily considering candidates from areas close to Irvine who meet the qualifications. Highly competitive salary.
